    Isn’t it a 1/2” Allen key or 12.7mm? I’m not aware that a 12mm hex exists in the tails.

    I did it by wrapping Gorilla Tape around the bonnet and then using a bottle opener, one of those with two levers that you squeeze shut. It left small marks but it came right off!

    A useful device but i would like a decent size box for it.also pull back carpet and some towels needed to catch very dirty radwater usuall black and extremely staining 😊

    I have a bath tub tap 3/4 inch but the copper pipe is only 15mm or 1/2 inch. Please identify a connector to attach my tap onto the smaller copper pipe. The bath tub tap is perfect as a basin tap. Thank you.

    I do mine with flax and jointing compound never leaked but recently a tiny leak appeared just wondered are rad threads faulty or should I use the locktie glue I have use it before I’m sure it’s the rad thread

    I have put 20 clockwise turns with joining compound on the tread inside the rad. I have not fully tightened the rad tail home, because I don't' want to damage the rad thread. However, the joint feels loose. Will the joint leak, and should I tighten all the way? Your thoughts?

    Wow this is great, i have just tryed to change the tap gland on my bath tap and had this problem ( same taps ) i was thinking of grinding it off with a dremmel 😄 but i will order one of these now thanks.

    AT LAST !!!! AFTER WATCHING DOZENS OF VIDS, THERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF MY TAP !!!! GOD KNOWS WHAT MAKE THEY ARE, BUT THEY HAVE THAT UNIQUE ''LAMPSHADE' SHAPED COVER ON.       Under the hot or cold lid there will be a screw, tighten it up then pop the little H or C lid back

    Thank you. I fixed my dripping tap today using the same tool as shown in your video. The tool was purchased new. However, after just one use I now find that I can't unscrew the cutter. It's actually stuck quite badly. So now I can't change the cutter to a larger supplied one. Any idea?
